We know that the current situation with Covid-19 is creating a lot of uncertainty, especially when it comes to travelling, so we are here to tell you that with Holiday Rental Portugal you can book with confidence, clear in knowledge that you can flex your travel plans should you need to.
We are continuing to monitor the worldwide events associated with the outbreak of Coronavirus. Currently the Foreign & Commonwealth office and the WHO have not changed it’s travel advice for Portugal and so holidays are continuing as normal.
Update, March 25, 2020
Due to the escalation with the Covid-19 pandemic, the FCO is now advising against all non-essential travel worldwide with immediate effect and applies initially for a period of 30 days (to April 16, 2020). We are proactively contacting all our guests currently on holiday or to do depart within this period, to advise them of their options.
If the advice for Portugal changes to ‘advise against travel’ or ‘advise against non-essential travel’ within 28 days of your departure then we will contact you to discuss your options. Your first point of call with be your insurer.
Prior to the 28-day window, our standard booking conditions and cancellation terms will apply. The situation is changing rapidly and it would be impossible to know now the situation on holidays booked in June, July and August for example
If you have specific reasons for not wishing to travel when there are no FCO restrictions in place we ask you to contact your travel insurers for information about cover.
