Dive, Dive.... Pedro Oliveira and José Alberto run Haliotis, a diving company based at the Praia Norte Hotel near Peniche, ten minutes from Praia D'El Rey. They are both PADI qualified instructors and they started the business in 2004 so all the equipment and the superb twin outboard dive boat are in excellent condition.Pedro and José use the large indoor and outdoor pools at the Hotel Praia Norte for training and instruction. Dives at sea take place in the clear Atlantic waters off Berlenga Island. Neil from Manchester said, I was a tad nervous having just started diving but the guys were very friendly and very professional. The underwater sights were brilliant - I saw lots of octopus. The instruction and safety standards were excellent and the five hours cost 90 Euros, fantastic value for money..'
