 Praia D’El Rey golf enjoys a prime beach-front location near the medieval walled town of Obidos in the heart of the Silver Coast and is a one hour drive from the airport and international shopping of Lisbon. It's an ideal location for those looking to discover the real portugal. At Praia D'el Rey groups of town houses and apartments have been designed as individual developments. These, and different styles of villas, blend with the golf course and the ocean views to create something unique. The International Association of Golf Tour Operators named Praia D'El Rey as Winner of Golf Resort of the Year 2007. But it's not all about golf. There are miles of golden sand beaches, historic towns Like Obidos and Alcobaça to discover, the local food and wine is excellent and eating out is remarkable value.

Our office is at the Business Centre at Serra D'el Rei about 10 minutes from the Resort. We hold our Welcome Meetings there, there's free wireless internet access and we are always available for help and advice.

SILVER COAST BEACHES - Photo Album
The Praia D'el Rey beach is a five minute stroll from the HPB Tenancies. It's great for sunbathing, picnics and long walks. For swimming, body-boarding and surfing Baleal, about 15 mins. by car, is ideal. There are several surf schools if you want to learn body-boarding or become a silver surfer. Baleal has several beach bars and restaurants for ice creams, drinks and lunches. Most are open at night and the fresh fish is excellent.

WALKING TOUR - More Details
A week of not too strenuous walking on Portugal's Silver Coast that combines history, culture, gastronomy and wine tasting. Book through HPB.

DOLPHINS - Photo Album
A great day out is a trip to Setubal south of Lisbon. Vertigem Azul take you out on a large rib inflatable and you speed round the Tejo estuary and ocean until the family of dolphins is found. It might take an hour or two to find them, they are living free, but it's worth the wait and it's a great day out. We have maps and directions in our office.

WINE TASTING - Photo Album
The Oeste region is home to dozens of vineyards and the wines they produce are rarely seen on the supermarket shelves in the rest of Europe. Quinta do Sanguinal is one of many lovely old quintas which has been in the same family for several generations and produces a range of reds, whites and rosés. Ana, the owner’s grand-daughter gives a full wine tasting of many of the quinta’s wines in the wine press alongside the ancient presses and stone troughs, where the workers trod the grapes years ago. There is a minimum number for wine tastings so please register your interest with us.
