the Lagoon Sailing School, is along the coast from
Praia D'El Rey outside Foz do Arelho. The
lagoon is open to the sea but free from the Atlantic
waves making it an ideal location for beginners and
experienced sailors and windsurfers. The
school has an excellent training programme for all
ages and they specialise in teaching kids as young
as six the basic sailing skills. With groups of six
or more they will arrange to meet you on the PDR side
of the lagoon - saving the drive around the lagoon.
The school has all sorts of boats, boards and equipment
for hire. For kite surfers the lagoon is an ideal location
particularly where the lagoon meets the ocean.
The Sailing School is run by Isabel who speaks excellent English!
