The Praia Del Rey 18 hole par 72 championship links course was designed by American architect Cabell B. Robinson, listed as Portugal's best course in the 2002/2003 Peugeot Golf Guide and rated 13th Best Continental Europe golf course by Golf World magazine. The course is set in extensive grounds of pine forest and undulating dunes with spectacular views over the Atlantic. With nine holes wending through the pine trees and nine hugging the Atlantic cliffs, Praia D’El Rey is a demanding test where the premium is on accuracy. With Golden Eagle, Penha Longa and Oitavos about an hour away Praia D'El Rey is a great base for a portugal golf holiday.

From March to October 2012 the Praia d'el Rey price for 18 holes is between 75 euros during the week and 125 euros at weekends. With QVTS 18 holes will cost 60 euros for weekdays and weekends. The QVTS booking fee is 12 euros per person irrespective of the number of rounds of golf and the number of golf courses you book during your stay in Portugal. Their service includes meeting you at the airport on arrival to deliver your golf vouchers, along with directions to the golf courses and a map of the area.
