ACTIVITIES AND WATER SPORTS from Praia D'El Rey
Sailing and Windsurfing School Based between Prai D'El Rey and Foz do Arelho at the Lagoon. Open to the sea but free from the Atlantic waves it is an ideal location for the Sailing School on the Foz side of the Lagoon.

Sao Martinho do Porto - This is great place for a day trip. Just a short hop north up the A8 - San Martinho do Porto has a huge golden sand bay which is great for swimming and sunbathing plus there are lots of restaurants and shops. This excellent website has links and information on all sorts of activities.

Haliotis is a really professional, PADI Accredited, Scuba Diving company based at the Hotel Praia Norte at Peniche. They have access to indoor and outdoor pools for beginners and they organise dives off Berlenga island from their new dive boat.
